Calmly waiting, but sitting very still
Calmly waiting, but sitting very still
This could very well be my only chance
If the loud wind, does not blow off my hill.
I wish it was warm like it is in France.
Man Joe, why is this weather so darn cold.
My arms are really getting heavy
Why don’t I just give it up and fold.
No! I did not come, to not be ready.
This nice day is far from being over.
The sun is still very high in the sky
Its eyes are sharp and will break my cover.
He is coming right towards me, he’s not shy.
I grabbed for my cold, long Remington gun
And as my barrel sung, he did not run.
