Torn in Two
My hearts been torn in two
Half with my family in a camp somewhere
Half with the family I'm staying with
Half my heart in the pits of hell
The other half in heaven among the angels
I love this new family
But I'm like the ugly duckling
Like a cat in a family of dogs
I'm this burnette, brown-eyed beast
Among these beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed people
The stars connect me with my family
I look up to them and feel their presence next to me
Stars make calls to my mom and dad
It makes me feel complete again
Bringing my hearts back into a whole
