I read the book Rivals by Tim Green. This book has a little mystery and excitement so that is why I liked it.

Some good quotes are, ¨Get outta my way kid, no wonder why you got hit in the face, standing around, blocking people? ways,¨ Umpire said,  ¨Let him go or you'll be front-page news,¨ Bob Costas said.

I like baseball and this book is about baseball. I like how Josh and his friends Jaden and Benji,  try to do good things like trying to catch the umpire cheating so everything can be fair.

The theme of this book is to work hard and don't cheat. I like it because it shows that cheating catches up to you sooner or later, like the team that cheated in the tournament until the championship game. They lost in that game because they couldn't cheat.

I like the author Tim Green. He is 52 and from New York. He writes a lot of sports books like Lost Boy, or New Kid that are good. As a kid he had two dreams, being in the NFL and becoming a bestselling author.

I would recommend this book. If you like the great game of baseball then you will like it. Even if you don't like baseball,  it’s a good book and I would be willing to bet you would like it.
