Dear Grandma:
You flow through us like a babbling stream.
Summer winds can't blow as sweet as you breathe.
Nothing is sweeter than the way you beam.
You shone so bright, sometimes we forget these
Your love showered us through our childhood
Like a fresh spring day. Your love like doves wings
Protecting us from harm. We can’t feel good
Now that you are gone. But yet my heart sings.
Heaven is joyous, while we are grieving.
Sweet words won't bring you back until the end.
To describe the feeling; disbelieving
Nothing can bring you back, I can't pretend.
Dear grandma, you can't come back here again
You are gone now, gone forever, Amen.
