Dangling Participles
The New Plight voiced a fresh definition
Though the era spoke hardship and despair
And I hope its not vain intervention
That I found myself flying in the air
From West, I flip pages of a penny
Novel, yeah, well that’s how its been described
Misstep, anew, I live in effigy
Reminded of youth and my fear to die
You watched me sum it up in my ash trays
And well endowed trash bins so supposing
Where love rhymes with pity and pities praise
And felt like home when I wasn’t chosen
Forget my dangling participles, right?
The past implies me, fulfills the New Plight
