A Deer Day
The deer,
grazing in a field of green,
crunching the crisp damp morning grass.
Its fellow friends flanking him,
as he eats a slow motion path,
step by step.
A sudden noise.
Heads up on alert,
scanning the field with wide eyes.
Another sudden sound,
closer.
The deer bolt through the field,
flying through the grass so ellegently,
like they are floating.
A leap over a fence,
like a gentle strike,
of a dancers movement.
As they fly through the distance,
white tails is all you can see.
