The corner house
There is something magical about that place
Where the moment i arrive
All the stormy clouds looming over my head
Seem to disintegrate, to dissipate
I may never know the reasons why
And those answers i dont need
But something about that house on the corner
Calms my mind, brings me peace
No where else have i ever felt
So safe and secure
But something about that corner house
Removes the pain, once inside the door.
I could stay there forever
It breaks my heart to leave
Its my fortress of solitude
It puts my body at ease
Its a magical place,
Where i know no harm will befall me
Its a safe haven full of color
The house on the corner, is judgement free
Maybe its not so much the house itself
But what resides inside
Open arms, a warming smile
Where i dont feel i have to hide
Its a magical place
The house on the corner
There is no where else id rather be
Than on the other side of that houses doors.
