As he rose in the black hungry darkness,
A weeping shadow cried out in sheer fear.
His razor sharp teeth ripped through my cold chest,
Drowning my screaming cries with salty tears.
I held a candle to the melting mirror.
The girl staring back whispered a soft tune.
The image rippled and then became clear…
He was the monster howling at the moon.
His cold eyes were a bloody pitch-fork red,
Piercing a destructive path through my heart.
I hate to pray you are already dead.
I’m sorry to say we shall never part.
I take this dagger and plunge it in deep,
I have loved you to death my hell- born beast.
