Pills
100, 200, 300, 4
How many more pills until I hit the floor
500, 600, 700, 8
Counting down until it’s too late
But I’m not afraid, because I made my peace
I’m ready to go, no strings attached.
No voices or thoughts, waiting for my breaths to finally cease.
I used to have dreams, and I use to make wishes
Who knew this disease would be so vicious?
My heart has slowed down, and I can feel the time coming close
Don’t be sad that I’m leaving, this Angel wasn’t meant for the earth
With my final breath, I’ll wish for a stronger dose
Just something to distinguish my self-worth
