You disappeared like the smoke off my cigarette-
and you,
you were like a crisp
white roll of
a
cigarette
that she twirled
between her fingers
and put against her lips
even though she knew
quite well in fact
that
you were definitely
going to be
the death of her
she took you anyway
inhaled you in,
and you,
you tugged at her fragile veins
with your curling billows of hands
and corroded her lungs
and oh look;
silly little girl;
she’s coughing
gasping for air;
oh it seems she can’t quite breathe,
she seems to be desperately
falling over her addiction
for you.
Such a stupid, silly little girl;
So naïve.
Does she really believe
That love
Exists in
A world like this?

Just a comparison on the corrosive nature of cigarettes and, unfortunately love.
