What if it rains?

What if it pours?

What if the sky comes down?

Then could we knock on heavens doors?

Knock, knock

Drip, drop

What if they're not home?

Then nothing's changed

I guess we just went our seperate ways

Funny how it rained all day

What if she stayed?

Would the clouds have gone away?

What if they did?

What if they didn't?

What if I'm just a mere pigment in her remembrance?

What if I changed?

What if I died right here?

Today

That's it!

Enough is enough!

You can't keep living your life on if, ands, or buts

Because excuses are the nooses that we wrap around our necks

When the world says we should just give up

I know that these are fresh cuts and there's gonna be some bleeding

But if you live your life in fear then it will just keep repeating

I know you're scared of the unknown

Who knows?

Maybe tomorrow the sun will burn up the ozone

So where does that leave you?

Just another mound of ash

And another soul filled with worry

Now I'm sorry, but now your story has become a myth

Just another epic

In the book of "What if?"
