I wish there was no fighting
I wish there would be complete peace
I wish we wouldn’t have to pronounce innocents dead
I wish we wouldn’t have to fight for our rights

I wish there would be no homophobia
I wish people would be accepting
I wish people would be open-minded
I wish we wouldn’t have to fight for our rights

I wish there was no racism
I wish there were no innocents shot
I wish there were no shootings at all
I wish we wouldn’t have to fight for our rights

I wish there was no sexism
I wish I wasn’t afraid to walk alone in the dark
I wish that women could be viewed as equals
I wish we wouldn’t have to fight for our rights

I wish that there was no terrorism
I wish that everyone could worship in peace
I wish that we wouldn’t stereotype
I wish we wouldn’t have to fight for our rights

I wish I wouldn’t have to ask for these things to be true
I thought the world would’ve moved on from this
I wish the world would be better than this

My inspiration is the constant need for all of these important fixes.

I feel your message, it's truly something to aspire to as the human race, but there was a beat to each line that left me wanting more. As if it were the beginning of a flowing statement with something of a meter in it. I like how you write, I'll check out the rest of your work ^~^
