Silent Night
Watch the sunset fade away and listen to my call
As night overcomes the realm of day, in a never ending brawl
Listen to the worldly noise, the wind around your hair
Hear nature’s soothing voice, see the moon’s vacant stare
Abandon notions of the day, your breath is running thin
Remember joyous times of play, the night will pull you in
Hear the whispers of the dawn, her voice is soft and sweet
Watch as the Sun is drawn, lighting up the street
Observe as another night has passed, as you lay upon the ground
Hope one day it will last, with the stillness of no sound
