Oh dear darling,
did you know I’m growing?
Oh dear,
did you care to see?
I am new,
growing inside and out.
But did you ever guess?
Learning to control the anger,
you would have never seen.
Learning to walk,
without my legs.
You were my everything,
my foundation!
Then you left me.
Did you know how much I loved you?
Did you even wish to be?
Did you leave on purpose,
for I cannot see?
Did you take my colors?
The bright beautiful ones?
Why did you leave the black?
Why always black?
Did you think?
Did you?
