Dim and dark
on sunken wings
the melting glow
of tears on skin
and dint of pressure
grasping spare
and turning raw
those gaping eyes
stinging the sight
of what is right in front of us.

The author's comments:
Though this is a poem about crying, I don't see it as a specifically negative way. I wrote this after a difficult time in my life, where the crying was not only about grief, but a sense of renewal and clearing my vision. Thank you for reading.

This is very good. Could have been a bit longer, maybe...? Either way, I'll give it an 8/10

What you wrote was sincere... great and moving. I understand what you mean about it not being a negative piece. Sometimes it is good to cry, to let out all of your bottled emotions and I think your poem really proves this.... Excelent. Keep writing... :)

I like this, I'm not one to judge or criticise but it's been the shortest and best thing I've read in a really long time. Keep writing and I'll keep reading.

This is a really vivid description that is worded in such a concise manner. It makes my heart smile.

About the note you wrote, I find crying as a sense of renewal as well. This is a beautiful poem- so completely accurate.
