Bliss
I thought I found the one,
Yet you always pass me by,
Never glancing up,
Or looking in my eye.
I've never had the courage,
To even come near,
For if I even speak to you,
I'm afraid of what I will hear.
What should I do?
Always living in doubt,
I'm afraid to take a bite,
Like some old sauerkraut.
I just want to know,
Whether I should even bother,
Making a move, taking a step,
Whether to scream, or to holler.
Do you even like me?
Do you know I exist?
I guess I will never know,
Living life without bliss.
