Craters
Supernovas behind closed eyelids.
Oh my, look at the disaster we have here.
Shhh, the willows will weep with you.
You're not going to find permanence with warm weather.
We come alive when the things that surround us wither and die,
perhaps that says a lot about the nature of humans.
Listen to the broken symphonies of the night time critters,
you can always depend on the moon to guide you home.
Live inside the craters of the moon until we go from warm to cold,
temporary to permanence.
And if you wish to not witness everything collapse under permanence,
you can always stay longer.
Us humans were not created strong enough to wrap our heads around the meaning of commitment.
