Despite the painful stay,
We'll fight until your glory only reigns,
Through the noise, lights, and it all,
I can hear your sweet call.
Love will be pain,
But it all falls to Earth from heaven,
And we are the viscous pack,
We are the telling lions,
There are a few scuffs on my heart,
But you will replenish it within time,
It's hard sometimes,
And I can't always shine;
But I'll do more than try.
You always win, oh world,
At these scary games,
But not this time around,
Because when you play with it's fire,
This diminishing atmosphere will always win,
So let our your roar move and bend,
We are really just seekers,
Of the plan God has for us in the end.

The author's comments:
We are the lion pack, the soldiers of Christ. Love, the world, and material things can cripple us. However, we must stand strong, and let out our roar.
