Ocean Path
I may, if the weather permits it, float to heaven on a wooden plank.
And if the winds are in my favor, I could climb the monstrous faces of the waves to uncharted waters.
The stars could perhaps aid me in this journey as steadfast companions, glimmering in the darkest hour.
On this journey to the sky.
I will cast stones that evolve to cliffs, spending their time as barriers between thrashing waves and the world.
It is such a sight to stare into the face of something so vast, and yet this is my only route to eternity.
To ride on the back of this aquatic knight, slowly approaching it’s decent into forever.
On this journey to the sky.
Its eyes like emerald stones glimmering under the beating sun
Its color like blue diamond’s sparkling under storm clouds
I may, if the weather permits it, float to heaven on a wooden plank
On this journey to the sky.
