My Downfall
Being alone with a book in hand,
All alone with not a care in the world,
It's a freedom I can rarely enjoy.
I was made to be alone, I think,
And it doesn't bother me until I see
My past friends laughing with each other like we used to.
So now I wonder, is my book my downfall?

Yes, this is me, sometimes. Although I am not very alone, sometimes I feel quite isolated from everybody else. I really like this poem and the feeling I get from it. Good job!
Could you please read my poem, "Deceit" and tell me whether it's any good?
