there's only so much
this girl walked the street,
hoping to not get beat.
she dies inside from the lies she sang,
as the people pass her by.
she wished to feel no pain,
she hoped she would be okay.
she listens to the kids play,
and remembers all the happy days.
she wishes she could find her way,
in a world with too much pain.
she remembers all the fun she had,
that has now change her ways.
this girl is in a world all alone,
that has a life to pave.
this girl feels abused and misused,
can anyone help this poor girl out.
or is it too late...
the only thing she can do,
is act as if everything is okay.
wont anyone understand that you can only push someone around so long before,,,
their day has come....
