Politics
Planes hit
People die
and for what?
Because we don’t follow other beliefs?
Because we’re different?
Then what do we do?
Try to get them back?
Start a war on their soil?
Put ourselves in economic turmoil?
I don’t know about you
But it sounds to me
We’re the biggest enemy in this war.
Lives are wasted
Cemeteries are filled
and families are broken.
And for what?
Dignity?
Power?
Revenge?
Tears dropped
Blood shed
and money is wasted.
For what?
Politics?
Differences?
Oil?
What if we forgave them?
What if there were no politics?
If everyone was equal?
Or if there was no revenge in our hearts?
Would there still be war?
Would people still die?
or tears still be shed?
Would those two iconic towers
still fall at the blade of two airplanes?
