Childhood.

When math was simple

Two ones make two.

That period of time,
Where nothing
Mattered.

Two twos make four.

That short,
But sweet span of time,
Where one could dream
And live
In fantasy.

Two threes make six.

Where one could
Believe
Have faith
And live
The Illusion.

Two fours made eight.

Welcome to Reality.

That is simple yet beautiful. First you experience the innocence and then abruptly it is shattered which is exactly how it really happens so I really liked that poem.
