Blue.
As I look into your deep blue eyes, I can't help but stare at the puddle of lies.
It grows wider and longer, day by day.
As the rain pours, not giving way.
Your dreams of love drowning down inside.
And all the heartache you're trying to hide.
Your eyes grow colder as the day wears on.
And your puddle turns into a little pond.
All the life starts to die.
As water drowns everything in sight.
You hate the world with all your might.
For bearing you in the hardships you feel impossible to survive.
By now your pond turned into a lake.
And you don't know how much more you can take.
The rain pours day after day.
Wearing on your soul, taking it away.
By now the water has no end.
And you can no longer pretend.
That everything inside is fine,
When you're walking on a thin line.
All the people you used to hold near.
Have been pushed away because nothing but fear.
You're all alone, drowning inside.
And I see that now from looking deep, down into those struggling blue eyes.
