Darkness
I'm walking through the stillness
There's nothing alive but me.
A few cars pass as the wind blows the trees.
Something is out there, but I can tell it's not human.
I walk through the shadows as a dark dreary shape appears.
It's a ghostly man with a knife, and he's coming my way.
I run through the shadows, it's like the trees are alive bending down to capture me.
I'm running faster now and I'm in the light safe from the darkness.
I move on, and fear does not capture me again.
