shelterd-the legend
we've been here so long i can't remember living anywhere else.
but i remember him.
with his drunken rage and his fist full of thoat.
NO!
they have shoved too many broken families under this thin roof.
too many cracked women with thier desperate eyes.
the only thing they shelter us here from is hope - i barely remember how to.
but i remember him.
with his sinking floors in his spotless house, and his late nights out
and smoke rings.
most everything of mine has been stolen - everything important.
i run the track after schooling and therapy.
i write my past and map the future, im making no progress.
but i remember him.
with his sneaky grin and rugged looks.
YES..........
i remember him well.
