The Liar's Creation
you painted me a brand new sky
a brand new sky for me alone
a perfect world
just too high to reach
So you decided to commission a mansion for me
All your old victims toiled away
perfecting the castle
I sat there staring at this marvel
Pressed against your painted sky
But it was also made of lies
I gazed at the widow closest to me
Waiting for your golden hair
To carry me near you again
But there was no flaxen ladder
There was nothing for me
Your castle and sky of lies mean nothing to me
anymore
