Scathed
The sun glares through my window
trying to burn me alive
nothing can satisfy him.
I writhe against my burning sheets
screaming as this flaming nightmares consumes
this hellish prison i call a body.
As the inferno rises on the brink of destroying my body
I let out a cry that brings you flying to my side.
you soothe me with your icy palms,
trailing them like a soothing balm all down my body.
Your wintry gaze compels and enchants me,
like a deadly sheet of black ice.
I need you like an autumn storm
to sate the temple of my body.
You are mine,
as I am yours.
