Weave and Bob
Crash in,
Wild hair
You make me smile
Like I never have before at a party
Weave between their striped legs
And come meet my friends
I’ll compliment your hair and eyes
Walk next to me all night
I’ll show you how to dance
And pull you close
And whisper secrets
Deeply
I want to let you know:
It’s not like this at a typical party
You won’t bob so much around the refrigerator
It’s too classic, I can’t stop,
Let me tell you, I’m not usually like this at a party.
I’m cramping up,
My mind, anyway
Just hear me out,
Your eyes are benevolent
And wise
And grey, with swirls
Just stay next to me
Here
At this party
This unusual, different party
And we’ll weave
And I’ll help you see the real Me.
