The silence seeps through you
glistening in your pores.
Stone cold, lying where I deserve
the moonlight striking his face,
casting a shadow upon your cheek.
Where I once kissed solemnly
one other has too.
the guilt, the pain of only losing yourself into the world.
Nighttime crawls slowly over us
slipping slowly into the darkness
that engulfs us endlessly.
swallowing us whole into the myseries of midnight dreams.
