The Sun
The sun
Covers me like a warm blanket on a winter night.
The fluffy white clouds
Majestically dance in the wind with grace.
The yellow daisies
Wave to me like they have seen a friend
The sun
Gone so soon as its blanket is replaced by the cool shade.
The fluffy white clouds
Turn to gray as they move frantically and hurriedly across the sky.
The yellow daisies
Struck down by raindrops only to stand back up tall and strong.
And once the rumbling of the thunder ceases and cloud runs away, out comes
The sun
To cover me like a warm blanket on a winter night.
