It's hard to leave
April 25, 2010
I left my family
I left mt friends
I ran from the sorrow
I ran from the dread
I'd spent my life with doctors
I thought I'd made it
And then I learn
I cannot save it
As I walked out the door
I saw my mom and my dad
sitting their
holding hands
They were crying
As they learned the news
Trying to be hopeful
For the life I would soon loose
I didn't want them to see me
As I took my last breath
As I died a terrible painful death
