My Wonderland
Come, love- come away, come run away-
To a land across the seas-
We’ll go by balloon, jumping over the moon,
On a cotton-candy breeze.
We’ll chase fireflies and parts of the skies
While the raindrops come up from the ground-
We’ll walk hand in hand through the castles of sand,
Wearing crowns made of flowers we found.
We’ll sing of things with many wings
And dance of things that swim-
We’ll talk to the flowers for hours and hours,
And cater to each silly whim.
Come, love- come away, come run away,
I miss my Wonderland-
I long for the seas and the sugary breeze
And your footsteps with mine in the sand.
