Dog named Elvis

have a dog named Elvis
He dances around but
Doesn't wiggle his pelvis
Like the singer Elvis
He is a cute little pug
Just like a bug in a rug
He is puppy still learning
But his manners not yearning
Impish like a little devil
Always wanting to revel
When he chews up a shoe
Hiding them from our view
Now on the hunt we must go
Where that shoe is we don't know
Often under the couch or chair
Or in the bathroom or even elsewhere
What will we do with you Elvis Dear?
Send you to puppy school with cheer
That when you come back home
You will leave our shoes alone
