There will be a day
when I graduate high school
leaving my same routine for college
starting a path to a career
There will be a day
when I get married
dressing up in a white gown
marrying my best friend
There will be a day
when I have a family
running my kids to dance or football
cooking my mom's recipes for dinner
There will be a day
when I remember
the stressful times of school
the happiness of marriage
the joy of kids
There will be a day.
