I wish I could turn the page
Or just close the freaking book
It's dragged on for way too long
But your sweet words had me hooked
You keep me on a string
That's wrapped around your finger
You treat me like a puppet
Aren't I a freaking winner?
I'm taking the rusty scissors
And cutting myself free
The puppet show is over
You don't control me
