Festival of Colours
1. Crowds of people everywhere,
Different colours on skins smeared,
Joyful hearts and cheerful shouts
Are what this is all about.
2. People here- both black and white,
No one hates and no one spites,
Noise and kites and waves and clothes
Are what this is all about.
3. Smiles to grace and faces to gaze,
No signs of bad and neither of gloom,
Colours and colours like flowers in bloom
Are what this is all about.
4. Songs- sang with voice and soul,
Dance moves and grooves- all for show,
Chats and talks- all full of love
Are what this is all about.
5. Colours ever bright and colours ever dark,
All the people have their marks,
Colours as pleasing as those on clowns
Are what this is all about.
