Solitude
The world has left me
vast expanses of nothing
I am simply alone
Walked out one by one
On the love that used to hold
Us, bound by thread
The hairs split in time
the ties fall as we let go
Back, into the black
Every joy was lost
Consumed by the fire of pain
Flesh burned to the bone
The heart left exposed
to the harshness of the wind
Cuts deep, in limbo
