The Celestials Spoke
Nwi Ka Tonbe
The Celestials spoke
And so the Spheres broke:
The skies were falling
And the heavens were calling
And the shards of stars soared in shambles
Clouds clanged in clamour
The mort, marred moon mingled in the mangling morose mayhem
Space’s black
And wee hour’s blue were burned away
The end of the world had come that night
While all were sleeping
And out of sight
They scarcely knew that they had gone
Never to wake and see the dawn
