I Watch
I watch the world crumble around me
I watch anger and hatred towards other people because of their race or religion
I watch as laws are broken everyday
I watch trees disappear and animals become extinct.
I watch innocent people murdered
I watch senseless and heartless terrorist attacks
I watch crimes done because of race or skin color
I watch as neighbors, friends, even brothers turn against each other.
I watch homeless men, women, even children on the street, barely able to survive
I watch as brave soldiers give their lives for us
I watch harassment, blackmail, and bullying among schools, along with suicide and fear
I watch as families are torn apart with divorces and law suits.
I watch people being laid off because of budget cuts and greed
I watch loved ones become ill
I watch racist comments pass through children’s and adult’s lips
I watch the religion known as Judaism die down.
I watch as technology takes over people’s lives completely
I watch struggle, hunger, fear, and pain take place
I watch humanity and understanding become obsolete words
I watch the world crumble around me.
