Slipped Away Into a Dream
I slipped away into a dream
where imagination burns bright.
A place of no material things
that allows my soul to take flight.
I walked along a fogy road
as reality held my mind.
A fantasy realm is what I chose
when it came not to reason, but rhyme.
Now down this path you walk with me,
we invent a world of our own.
And build a life that sets us free
in a place we both call home.
At last we find it is time to part
so I let these words ring true.
By myself, I won't travel far,
and I will walk again with you.
