fireflies
When the sun starts to retire from view
The moon starts to appear
In the warm summer evenings
Fireflies appear
Dancing across the darkened sky
Small sparks warming hearts
Watching them glide in the summer breeze
Then disappearing from view
When the lights go out
Like small stars that float a little closer to earth
