the long and lonely path
as I walked down the path today
I remembered our first date
We walked down this very path
Holding hands all of the way
I stopped at the thought of something
A moment there I can admit
I saw your face and really missed
you reached down and
took my hands in yours
you leaned down
almost kissing me
i moved in for it
But in reality
it was just a memory
it faded that very second
I fell to my knees
Right where I was sitting
We had our first kiss
I loved you with all my heart
Now you’re seeing someone else
I thought that we would’ve last
But we ended about four months passed
I walked down the path today
Crying every step I did take
I wanted to ask you if you still love me
i needed to tell you that I still love you
