Love Hurts
Sadly, a phone call is all it would take,
While your sitting in that chair with that phone,
You do not want her fragile heart to break,
So you sit there like an orange safety cone.
Contemplating what you need to do now,
Trying not to let too much sorrow in,
She’ll still hate you but you wont feel like a cow,
So you sit, wanting to know where you’ve been,
But you cant seem to figure this out yet,
So you pick up that shining new cell phone,
And you now in sorrow call dear Annette,
You choke and feel shivers down your tailbone,
You say the words, now she’s gone forever,
So much for being such a great charmer.
