Against a mountain of clothes
Rumpled and creased
Shirts for funerals
And a single suit jacket
Hung on a flimsy rack
Music and movies and books
Already devoured
Rest in peace
On the shelves
Some I had no more
Room for
Others…. Well,
There’s no need to broadcast
My affection for
‘Wild Wild West’
To anyone.
