The Life You Once Knew
Nothing stops moving so you can jump on
Nothings going to wait, so, if you want me, run
Run, walk, crawl, everyone could use wings
And all other unimaginable things
You left. Stepped right off this Earth
You thought this would cover up all your hurt
You lied to yourself and drew on that smile
Well, I hope that happiness stays for a while
Real or fake, a smile’s a smile
You have changed so much, you’re one vile child
Walked away and made me cry
Left me to friends still by my side
Sometimes, I wonder if you know its true,
That life you once knew is still going on without you
