After Peer Pressure
Sitting in the dark corner
She cries,
She cries for love,
happiness,
or truth.
They’re all there,
Right in front of her,
All she has to do is stretch out her arms
And take hold of it.
She sits there
In the dark corner
Still crying,
Not for love
happiness,
or truth,
Oh no, she has those now.
Now she cries for others,
Others without love
happiness,
or truth.
For you see,
Not everyone has love,
happiness,
or truth.
Because they live in
Denial.
