Plans
Everyday I carry the weight,
Of my past that took my fate,
sometimes it makes me feel broken,
But sometimes it makes me feel chosen,
Maybe this was picked out for me,
To teach me what I should see,
That I could be great,
That maybe this is my fate,
My dreams are now in mind,
One day I will find,
That one thing that gives me joy,
Maybe a job, a lifestyle, a boy,
Life has emotions, sad, happy, mad,
Sometimes I'm good but I can be bad,
But in the end it doesnt matter you see,
No one will remember my math grade, but they'll remember me
Because I plan to leave my mark here,
I plan to live for the better, no fear,
So I say forget my past,
Because this better version of me will last.
