A good friend is one that's there for you
One that'll hold your hand in time of need
Hug you when you need or want one
A given friend such as this are rare to come by
They always leave footprints in your heart
Their just special... like an angel from God
They brighten your day when it's all gray
Stay with you when all was gone
Gave you something to look forward to
So, if you may come across one of these
Don't just toss them away
Give them the gift back
The gift of friendship
