Home of the Heart
If home is where the heart is
I surely have no home
For my heart is always changing
It doesn’t know where to go
I go up and down and side to side
But nothing quite jumps out
Yelling ‘Here! Here!’
So I am turned upside down
I try and try to find my way
A place I will always know
A place that looks like shining diamonds
And gold that will always glow
So I lay down my peace
And let my heart finally rest
Hopefully it will find its way
To choose the one place it knows best
If I may follow after
I know I will find my home
The one place I discover
In the arms of those who behold
The treasure of a moment
The passion behind the kiss
So if I ever leave my home
It will be of those I truly miss
